Maturing Toward Wholeness in the Inner Life
By George Miley
How can someone become free of unwanted, destructive, compulsive behaviors which, if left unaddressed, will shred the very fabric of life? The insight Jesus brings to the subject is a game-changer: outward behavior expresses the condition of the inner life. Meaningful and enduring change cannot happen until inner wounds are healed and character is transformed. How does such transformation take place? The answer in a word: Jesus. Placing our trust in him, we receive a new kind of life–God’s own life. But this new life must cultivated in order to grow. This happens in discipleship. Establishing Jesus as Master Teacher for all of life, I become his follower, his student. This isn’t about ‘earning’ anything. It is a free gift of grace–God doing for me what I cannot do for myself. God does it; but I must choose it. Jesus imparts wisdom as to how human life was designed to be lived, and the power to live it. Christlike character is gradually formed within. Outward behavior reflects the change. The enduring fruit is healing, wholeness, fulfillment. Maturing toward Wholeness in the Inner Life outlines the way.

Loving the Church… Blessing the Nations
Rediscovering the role God designed for the church in mission is a critical issue facing the missions movement today. That role is to glorify God by extending the Kingdom of God among every tongue, tribe, and nation. Though not the only activity necessary in seeing the Kingdom extended to new areas, planting churches is certainly an integral part.Planting churches amongst unreached peoples is a complex process. It calls forth every ministry gift and the contribution of every believer. Imagine a businessman, a construction worker, a schoolteacher, and an engineer all working together to support the development of a local church amongst an unreached people group in another part of the world. Most Christians will not leave home and go someplace else to minister. If they are to participate in God’s global mission, they must be affirmed, developed and released right where they live, in the context of their local church. This book shows how churches can become centers of mission vision and implementation and so accomplish God’s design for the local church.
A Garland For Ashes
Hanna Miley (wife of the founder of Antioch Network – George Miley), recounts the story of her search for meaning and understanding in the death of her parents in a Nazi concentration camp and the journey that eventually led her to deep personal peace with God and with the German people.
